NNEWIN Angel & Impact Investing with your Retirement Accounts and Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
Tuesday, September 26, 2023
12:00pm ET to 1:00pm ET
Zoom | Free

What is a self-directed IRA? How can you use a self-directed IRA to do angel and impact investing.

What are Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)? How can you get your grant dollars to have more impact through DAF investing?

Featuring:
Alison Pyott, Veris Wealth Partners, Partner
Sally Boulter, Impact Assets, Senior Engagement Officer
• Greg Bell, Investor

Join us on September 26th at 12pm ET via Zoom for a special Northern New England Women’s Network (NNEWIN) discussion on DAFs and self-directed IRA’s and how they can be used to help you dip your toe in the world of angel & impact investing.

We hope to answer such questions as:

  • Is there a way to use a DAF to invest vs. grant to organizations, both for profit and non-profit, that are important to me?
  • If I’m not an accredited investor, but want to invest in mission aligned opportunities, can I (or a group) use a DAF to invest?
  • What is a self directed retirement account?
  • How can I use my retirement accounts to invest in start-up, early stage, and impact focused companies?
  • How can DAFs and my retirement accounts help my money go further to invest in alignment with my values?
  • How can I use my retirement accounts to invest in start-up, early stage, and impact focused companies?

You will hear from Alison Pyott of Veris Wealth, Sally Boulter of Impact Assets, and Greg Bell immersed in the world of impact and angel investing on how to get started today. We will leave plenty of time for questions and hope to make this an ongoing conversation at NNEWIN.
