The Maine Women’s Investor Network (ME WIN) is an initiative that activates the financial power of women and femme to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in Maine. Our goal is to increase the number & expertise of female investors, and to close the gender & diversity gaps in angel funding.

ME WIN hosts events ranging from day-long training sessions on early-stage investing, to intimate “salon” style gatherings, and local viewing of NNE WIN live broadcast panels or archived ACA webinars with tri-state virtual discussion.

ME WIN facilitates connections among women sharing lessons learned & building networks. Learn from experienced female founders and angel investors.  These strong investor networks are key to a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

ME WIN is not an angel group or investing club. Maine Angels is Maine’s ACA angel group – 33% of the 60 members are women! Entrepreneurs seeking funding apply online. Accredited investors may attend monthly pitch meetings as a member’s guest.

ME WIN is a group of women who care passionately about investing in the businesses that help our communities thrive, with a special focus on those owned by Maine and northern New England women entrepreneurs.

Local WIN activities include “salon” style gatherings for current and prospective female angels, hosted attendance at Maine Angels meetings for accredited investors, and broader events to raise awareness of early-stage investing. We also attend regional events in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, and participate in NNE WIN webinars.
