We’re excited for Casey Johnson to join us on February 23, 2021 from 5pm to 6:30pm to tell Her Story about early steps to align her money, lifestyle and work with her values. Through Casey’s current role at RSF Social Finance, she has grappled with the tensions of power and privilege in our money systems and also explored what truly regenerative business can look like. Her story is also about the bumps along the way, and the remaining question of how to build and stand in a more feminine power when so much of our culture celebrates patriarchal values. Casey is grateful to have the WIN network to learn from and lean on through this conversation!
Agenda for Zoom Online Event:
As always, there will be time for a discussion and sharing ideas. Vermont Women’s Investors Network believes strongly in being an inclusive and diverse network.
The meeting is free and open to all women and femmes, trans-gender and gender non-forming people interested in learning more about how they can invest with their values.
About Casey Johnson: Casey co-leads RSF Social Finance’s food and agriculture lending portfolio, which most importantly means she’s passionate about the intersection of money for good and regenerative agriculture. She moved back to her home state in 2019 for family and a deeper sense of community. The early part of Casey’s career was spent leading financial capacity building efforts for nonprofits across the country with the Nonprofit Finance Fund. In all of her work to date- and in future roles to come- she’s deeply passionate about rebuilding our financial system to center relationships and restore vibrant, just regional economies. Casey checked off a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tufts University and still wonders about grad school. She loves being outside and moving, in all its forms, and cooking with all the amazing local VT food.If you have questions or need more information, feel free to contact us at [email protected]
