Join us for a lunch hour HerStory with Tuti Scott. Tuti Scott is a nationally recognized leader in the fields of gender justice, philanthropic strategy, and values-aligned investing. She currently serves on the Advisory Boards of Nia Impact Capital, Criterion Institute, and is a Partner with Invest for Better.

With a career spanning over two decades, Tuti has produced and facilitated dozens of retreats, intensives, and workshops focused on activating women’s leadership in philanthropy and investing. From 2008 to 2017, she led transformational gatherings such as The Learning Collective, Women Raising Millions, Bridge Builders, and Voice and Influence, empowering women to move their money in alignment with their values.

Tuti is the producer and lead facilitator of Private Investing and Blended Capital with a Gender and Climate Lens for Heading for Change donor partners and Invest for Better members (2024–2025), and co-creator of the Impact Intensive: Gender Lens Investing program for Women Moving Millions (2021). She also serves as a facilitator for the Freedom School for Philanthropy (2022–present), supporting high-net-worth donors in deepening their equity journeys.

At the Women’s Sports Foundation, Tuti’s team raised $70 million over 15 years to support equal access to sports for women and girls. She served as interim CEO at both the Women’s Sports Foundation and Tides, where she also spent 10 years on the board—five of those in board leadership. A certified fundraiser for over 13 years, Tuti has provided strategic advice to multiple coalitions and networks.

As a trusted coach and advisor, Tuti has worked with mission-driven leaders at organizations including Root Capital, Women Moving Millions, Equal Rights Advocates, Global Fund for Women, Farm Sanctuary, and the Asia Foundation.

She is the author of two widely used guides: Moving Money for Impact: A Guide to Gender Lens Investing (2019) and Money, Gender, and Power: A Guide to Funding with a Gender Lens (2021), which have become essential resources for donors and investors committed to systems change.
