JEAN HAMMOND is a co-founder and partner at LearnLaunch. She is also the founder of JPH Associates. A serial entrepreneur, she co-founded AXON Networks, which was acquired by 3Com, led 3Com WAN marketing activities and also founded Quarry Technologies. Jean is an active angel investor focusing on early stage high-tech and high-growth start-ups. She is a member of Hub Angels and Launchpad Venture Group, and she is the founder of the Boston Forum of Golden Seeds. She has an active portfolio and has served as a director or advisor with over 30 of the companies within her portfolio.
DEB KEMPER leads the Boston Forum of Golden Seeds, a national angel investor group. She is also a member of Clean Energy Venture Group. Her investment focus is high growth companies in the clean tech, health care, and technology sectors. Previously, Deb was a consultant with McKinsey & Company where she served clients in the energy, utility, electronics, and healthcare sectors. Her functional experience spans manufacturing, product development, operations, strategy, professional development, and leadership coaching. She has provided leadership support to organizations in China, Peru and the United States.
BEN LITTAUER has been an angel investor since 2008, with a diverse portfolio ranging from a core of software firms (especially mobile and social) to medical devices, biotech, and pharma. He is an active angel investor, with investments in approximately 40 companies. Ben’s experience as a technologist gives him credibility with engineers, and his work with hundreds of start-up companies allows him to quickly asses their strengths and weaknesses and help founders refine their business plans. Ben was Founder, President and CTO of Baranof Software, a self-funded company that was profitable from year two and acquired by Tally Systems. Ben is a mentor, judge and speaker with MassChallenge, The Capital Network and a number of universities an entrepreneurship events worldwide.
